Begin at the beginning; Sanitation and proper food handling...the A B C's.
Question for you students: Why is the country plagued w/ diseases?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As far as education is concerned: Waaaaaay waay back in the early 1980's, you know, b4 cell phones?😂..anyway, I attended a trade school during half of my high school hours for 2 yrs in the institutionalized food service class. It taught the ABC's of the complete hospitality field from hotel restaurant management, to ice carvings & pastries, all while preparing/cooking & serving lunch for the rest of the schools students & staff where other courses of trade skills were taught. Now let's come to the present experiences.....my tail is TIRED!lol so with out further doubt..come learn what real cooking is all about...it didn't start from the 80's...I had a big family and was the 1st Granddaughter, 2nd grandchild of her 8 kids! So now, you are finished the resume...let's cook! 😁

Each 1 teach 1. It's a Baltimore thing I guess..lol...
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly coworkers and my children. I am not a 'school teacher', but I know my culinary world.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Thats a tough one, as a catering chef of both cooking and bartending for special events...I would have to say all of them are fond to me because it's always a pleasure to be able to visibly see & hear the joy of the guests from your hospitality.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure their personality comes off as natural as mine 😁.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Depends on what type of needs....😌😊
