What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I will teach in tablature.

I have practice guitars available but BYOG is best.

I will patiently endure your favorite riffs and do my best to explore the multiple ways in attaining your progress to finally playing them.

I don't judge your taste. I'm here to get you more than comfortable with the fretboard and proper playing techniques to maximize your speed and effort.

I'm wide open on age (I have kids too). I'm wide open on genre, so long as there's a guitar involved. I'm very deliberate in the way that I teach (you get what you give, so practice). My experience is mainly aggressive styles punk/metal, improvised jazz, folk and fingerstyle acoustic.
