Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons are $100 for 45-minute lessons and $120 for 60-minute lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
Both of my parents are professional musicians, too, so there was always a stream of students in my home taking music lessons! I started teaching lessons and putting together orchestras to conduct in high school. The passion for teaching just grew from there, culminating in my recent doctorate (2017) in Music Education and Orchestral Conducting.
What types of students have you worked with?
I currently teach students ages 2-85. Every student is unique, and I teach according to his/her interests, abilities, and goals.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I played piano a few months ago with my 97-year-young grandmom. We are a family of musicians!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Hire the best teacher you can possibly find who has the most positive attitude.
