About
Since graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2004, I have taught thousands of students, from beginner to advanced, to be better guitar players. Every student is unique and every lesson is catered to the student. I teach fundamentals all the way to advanced styles. I also perform about 150-200 shows a year, so I don’t just “teach,” I also actively play.
Music has been my #1 passion since I was 4 years old, when I started piano lessons. At 12, a friend taught me a Nirvana song on the guitar, and the rest is history. Upon gratuading from Berklee in 2004 Cum Laude, I moved to the Florida Pandandle where I perform and teach at 2 local music stores as well as out of my home recording studio. I’ve performed in casinos, colleges, bars, restaurants, weddings, parties, and everything in between.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask a few questions to see where they are at in the beginning, and then I start filling in the gaps. I teach the proper way to learn songs, the proper way to learn scales, how to think about chords, sight reading is optional but recommend, exercises, advanced techniques like sweep picking and tapping, and more.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music, generally thought to be the best music school in the world. I’ve also taught 30-60 students a week for the last 15 years. I also perform about 150-200 shows a year with my band.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

For those that prefer an hour a week, which is better if possible, it’s $230 a month for 4 hour long lessons. How did you get started teaching?
In high school, I taught friends as well as some middle school students. When at Berklee, I taught classmates that were impressed with my performance skills. From 2004 on, after I graduated, I decided teaching and performing was what I wanted to do, and was hired as a guitar instructor at Playground Music Center and Upbeat Music, and I also teach independently.
