Full service music store with adjacent studio. The studio, established in 1969 can be rented out for recording sessions, band practice and music lessons. Music Mart offers a wide selection of musical instruments and gear all in a laid back atmosphere in historic downtown Valparaiso, Florida. We also do instrument repairs including tube amp servicing, guitar setups and neck resets. Lessons are given in the studio during normal business hours, afterhour lessons are available upon request.
I started playing guitar in 1975 and have played many styles over the past 44 years including blues, rock, country, jazz and classical. I am a singer songwriter based in Americana roots and style. I focus each students lessons based on their skill level and particular interest in music genres. In addition I delve into the musical theory as it pertains to the different styles being studied. My main focus is with beginner and intermediate level students.
