About
I am a guitar teacher in the Fort Lauderdale area. I love to teach all styles of guitar and music. I studied with masters at Berklee College of Music and have been teaching and performing for 25+ years.
The guitar is an incredible instrument that can be played solo, chord accompaniment and chord/solo as well.
You will learn how to play all the above and we will start playing on the first lesson guaranteed .I read music notation and will provide that if you want.
I provide all the materials you will need for free, notebook, chord diagrams, finger technique and more.My goal is to get you to play the music you like and right away.I will make it fun and rewarding for both of us!
Looking forward to getting started with you !

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask what are your goals, what kind of music do you like, do you want to learn how to read, how much time a day can you dedicate to the instrument?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Alumni from the Berklee College og Music, voted the # 1 music school in the world. I have extensive teaching and performing experience thruought the country and Europe as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge 50.00 dollars for a single lesson, but give a 5 or ten bollar break if they study weekly and depending on distance.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always love teaching and started by teaching friends in Hight School that wanted to play like me ! I have taught ever since then. and I love to teach, it is the most gratifying thing I do.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have had a wide array of students from all ages ; 6 years old and up to Doctors and Lawyers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I perform locally in Fort Lauderdale, sometimes my students come to hear and I always try to inspire them !
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The guitar is a unique instrument. It is a rhythm, chordal and solo instrument and you must have someone professionally trained with experience. There are many guitar teachers all over, but more than 90 % can not read legitimate music notation! That is a shame, so you should be carefull and ask these questions..
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
You will only improve with practice and good teaching, direction and inspiration. You need to commit to at least an hour per day. You can easily do it by managing your time, say less t.v. time is a good place to start !
