We provide quality music lessons in almost every instrument. Our teachers are highly skilled in their fields and have excellent rapport with their students and the parents. Our teachers travel to you or you may travel to some of them as well. RK Music Studio organizes two recitals during the school year and offers lessons to students of all ages and abilities.
Every teacher at RK Music Studio is in love with music. Our ultimate goal is to help our students fall in love with music as well. We believe that learning the basics while also incorporating things the student wants to learn create the best educational environment. When the students love their lessons we are happy!

In the initial contact, we ascertain the student/parent goals and then recommend the best teacher for that student. Once in a while the teacher and student aren't the best match and in this case we can transfer the student to a more suitable teacher at our studio or recommend someone else nearby.
Each of our teachers have degrees in music and/or extensive training and performance experience. Each teacher specializes in something different so the education and training varies. Rest assured that we are all experts in our fields. This is important even for teaching the youngest students. A proper foundation is key to being successful at your instrument which means you'll enjoy it!
Our lessons are $29 for 30-minute lessons. Your one-time $20 registration fee includes your first set of materials (books, folder, etc.) and as you progress we can provide books or you can purchase them on your own.
Our teachers work with students of all ages and abilities. We have students whose interests range from the casual hobbyist to the students who are doing college-prep level music study. Our teachers will work with you on your own goals and tailor your lessons to achieve the most satisfactory result.
We host two recitals per year geared toward the middle and end of the school year. Our students and parents enjoy this opportunity to showcase their work and to offer encouragement to other students as well. In each recital we mix the batch of students to include a variety of levels and instruments to keep things engaging for younger siblings.
When you are looking for a music teacher, you should be asked about you/your child's music experience and what you have in mind for goals. Music lessons are not one-size-fits-all so be sure to speak up about what exactly you picture the lessons will accomplish. If your contractor doesn't ask these questions, you will get their standard lessons instead of something tailored to your needs and goals.
