About

Hi there, I'm Juan! I'm a passionate Guitar player and teacher. I've been playing guitar for over 15 years. One of my biggest passions is to share my gift with people. My goal is to help you achieve your goals while having a lot of fun in the process. I work with kids or beginners that are just starting to play the guitar or intermediate people that want to grow and keep advancing. As well as advanced people that want to get more into the professional aspect of being a guitarist.

I focus in three main aspects:

-Technique

-Theory

-Creativity

I recently graduated from Hillsong College in Sydney, Australia. That was definitely a life changing experience for me and I'm honored to be able to share some of my experience with my students.

Qualifications & Accomplishments:

- Hillsong College (Adv Diploma in music & ministry)

- Session guitarist for many artists

- Guitar teacher (8+ years) in Schools and private lessons.

- Studio and live performance experience.

- Sponsored by Lava Cable & Cmatmods. (Two top brands in the professional music industry)

Thanks for reviewing my page, and can't wait to meet you and have a lot of fun playing guitar and learning more about it!

I enjoy that I get to meet great people and that I can share my gift with others!

Frequently asked questions

I first observe and define the level of where the student is. This helps me define the areas that I would be working on. It's always important to serve the needs of the student. I always want to make sure I'm not just loading information but helping every individual in the process of learning, understanding their needs, strengths and areas to improve.

After I have defined this, I engage with the student helping him/her to achieve their individual goals as a guitarist.

I studied at Hillsong College and graduated with an Advanced diploma in music & ministry.

I have played with several bands both live and in the studio recording andproducing.

I have 15+ years of experience playing the guitar and 8+years of taching.

(Private lessons include an initial consultation, material, media, charts, 24/7 service outside of classes hours)

note: transportation fees may apply depending on the location.

I've always loved music and the guitar. I would always show my friends the new things I was learning. I then discovered that sharing became a passion that I couldn't keep to myself, especially when it came to helping others. One day somebody asked me if could teach them how to play the guitar and I gladly said yes! At that point, I understood that my gift was meant to be shared with others and it was the best decision ever. I have been able to teach hundreds of people and it has been the most rewarding thing that I have ever done in my life.

I have worked with kids, teenagers, young adults, adults and even people with special needs. Both male and female.

I would say find someone that is passionate about what they do. Because if someone loves doing what they do It won't be difficult to share that passion with anyone.

1. What do I want out of this? (Make it a hobby, make it my career, sing and play for fun, etc)

2. What level am I in? and what level do I want to achieve?

3. What are some of my strengths & weaknesses?
