Galez Music Lessons
About
I'm passionate about music and I teach with the student's goals/needs in mind to become a better musician. I make a specific plan to teach the student how to read music and develop his/her musical inner ear in a fun and dynamic way.
I enjoy seeing the progress of my students as we go through the music training.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first lesson is focused on getting to know the student's music experience, motivation/goals, and a kickstart to our musical journey.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors in Music from Florida Atlantic University. I have taught piano lessons, guitar lessons, and singing lessons for 10 years. I'm currently a music director for a church and I'm constantly singing and playing.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching when I was asked by a parent from Church if I could teach a child how to play piano. Soon after, the number of students grew by word of mouth.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly beginners and intermediate level students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher who obvoiusly is knowledable, but more importantly passionate about teaching music and also someone who's actually doing it as he can share his/her own experiences to help you become a better musician.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think it is always important to ask yourself these questions even if the answer is simply "I take lessons for fun":
1) What am I looking to get out of taking music lessons?
2) What do I want to accomplish by taking music lessons?
3) Why?
