Player Coach
About
With only 1 lesson my students see improvement! As a player I didn't have great athleticism, which taught me to become very technical and work hard. That being said it must also be enjoyable and fun. What I teach extends past the court or the ring. I believe if we combine mind and body we can excel in all areas.
I very much enjoy setting goals and seeing improvement. Helping to build confidence in others adds to mine. Instructing is a life long learning process. I learn more every day from each student and attempt to pass along as much knowledge as possible. It is very satisfying to watch a student grow and achieve everything they strive for!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First lesson is getting to know you. Go over some basics and assess strengths. I develop a plan based on the students goals and strengths. Each student gets a custom plan tailored to them. I usually give extra drills to work on their own as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Player coach for middle school and high school students. Numerous camps and training sessions private and public.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Usually on a case by case basis.
How did you get started teaching?
Asked to give shooting instruction by high school coach.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages from grade school to college.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A student of mine went from a beginner to sparring intermediate level boxers in just a few months.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be sure the teacher is clear about the instruction given, and make sure the communication is clear from both of you. If you don't seem to line up maybe try asking more questions before seeking another instructor.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I welcome all questions. The old cliche holds true for me. "No bad questions".
