I spacialize in classical guitar and I also teach folk-pop guitar to those who enjoy singing or accompanying others. I also offer ukulele, electric guitar, and fingerstyle lessons to fit your interests.
Teerut Nattakarn Kijrattanakarn is from Lopburi, in the central part of Thailand. He began to learn guitar from his dad and began his formal music education at the age of eleven through the Yamaha Music Program. Teerut is pursuing a DMA at the University of Florida with Dr. Silviu Ciulei. He was privileged to study under the esteemed Dr. Andrew Zohn and Dr. Elliot Frank at Columbus State University where he received his Artist Diploma, and at East Carolina University where he received his Master’s. He also served as an assistant teacher at ECU. Teerut earned his Bachelor’s from Mahidol University in Thailand.
Throughout his career, Teerut’s talents have been recognized through his participation in various guitar festivals and concerts, including the GFA mentorship program 2021-22, the Homenaje al Maestro Simone Iannarelli - 1st Festival Internacional de Guitarra Clasica - Suena Peru, National Hispanic Heritage Month at the School of Music, ECU, Tercer Festival Internacional de Música "El Reencuentro,” at Peru and serving as a jury member in the Festival Internacional de Musica II, Homenaje a Leo Brouwer, and Solstice Guitar Symposium 2024.
Teerut’s exceptional musical abilities have been recognized through several awards and prizes, including;
1st place in the open category at the 2019 Pattaya Classical Guitar Festival & Competition.
1st place 2022 ECU guitar competition college/professional division.
1st place 2023 Queens Guitar Symposium collegiate division.
1st place 2024 Troy University Guitar Festival open division.
1st prize from Guitar-Perm-Silver 2024, Russia
1st prize from the 8th Annual Nizhny Novgorod International Classical Guitar Competition 2024, Russia
3rd place University of Florida Guitar Extravaganza 2024
