About
I live, breathe, eat, and sleep the guitar. Bit by the bug in 1995 and have not put it down since. Started teaching at a young age and really enjoyed helping people have an easier time having fun on the guitar. Whether your goal is to learn the basics, or get ready for a scholarship audition I would be happy to help! - Experienced music teacher (16 years teaching) with focus on electric guitar - Winner of Steve Vai’s “Best In Shred” Finals for SamAsh Music Stores (Georgia/Florida, October 2013) - Appeared in Mike Varney’s Spotlight Column in Guitar Player Magazine (August 2005) - Founder of the subgenre Shredgaze - 2009 Graduate of the Berklee College of Music with a degree in Professional Music
I love sharing what I have learned with others who are also passionate about music. I enjoy seeing students progress, and extract more joy out of their time spent with their guitar.
