What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First teach them balance and then teach them how to hold their hands up to protect themselves.Slip and learn to roll under and counter punch.Learn from a real boxer not a fitness center coach who never really boxed
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Introduced to the sport at the age of 6 with over 400 amateur boxing fights.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I normally charge pricing due to the level of skill needed.
Prices can range from $7 per session depending on if they wanna do individual sessions or group sessions.
How did you get started teaching?
Over 45 years of experience and knowledge I have decided to teach my knowledge and work with kids, teens, and adults to gain confidence, guidance, and knowledge of the sport whether to compete or just learn.
My main goal is to teach and establish a 12 to 15 student team to compete in amateur boxing events.
What types of students have you worked with?
All nationalities, ages, and experience levels from worst to best.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The hours I have worked with one student, one on one and being happy after they finally perform the way I originally wanted to teach them.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
First I would find what their goal is such as boxing for fitness, competition, or to learn for self defense.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
In our interview explain and ask what level of experience their desire is to advance.
