I tailor lessons to the interests of the student. From working with songbooks and learing songs of the students choice, leesons are engaging and based on the student. Music theory is also included lessons to build a music vocabulary. Lesson sessions are flexible and adabtable to the student.Lessons are fun for beginner students, challenging for the intermediate player.
I love helping students discover their musical selves. Everyone has a song inside of them. I enjoy helping people achieve and develop their musical abilities. I remember I started out just they did! I began by taking private lessons and continued to develop my guitar style whiile studying music at Syracuse University in New York State. The look on the students face when accomplising the ability to play fluently is priceless.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by listening to what the student wants to achieve by playing the guitar. Who are their influences and what stlye of music do they enjoy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am originally from NYC. I studied Music Performance at Syracuse University then took private lessons to develop guitar skills. Musical influences have been rock, jazz and blues. I have played in several rock and jazz bands. I am currently involved in a Heart tribute band.
