I've been teaching guitar, bass, mandolin, (and sometimes drums) for about 35 years. I have taught all styles. Teaching is truly a calling and my finest joy is seeing someone discover the wonders of music. Most of my students know more theory than they ever knew they were learning. I never scared them with the word. I just helped nurture their interest and turn it into enthusiasm. Individual instruction has the benefit of going the students pace and direction. I have had students and ex-students invite me to graduations, weddings, family gatherings, etc. Some even return years later with their kids. I am really good at this and would be thrilled to be a part of your (or your child's) musical education.
