Academy Of Fine Music
About
We teach Piano, Voice, Guitar and Violin. We teach music Theory, Technic, Performance, Ear Training, Sight Reading, Music History, Composers History and all genres of music. Lessons are geared to each student but the foundation of music is taught to all students to give them a solid music foundation to have a lifelong love and use of music.
It's so rewarding to teach a technic to students and see their happiness when they understand it. I also love to see them start in music and broaden their understanding of music and the wide world of it. They see the powerful emotional and learning effects of music. I love to be at the studio and hear all of the music and see students loving to learn and teachers loving to teach!

We do not participate in contests. We have yearly recitals incorporating all areas of instruments. I love seeing the students see how the different instruments can work together to make music.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher that works with you to encourage your child. This means you want one that is willing to work in all genres of music. You also want a teacher that teaches theory and technic as that is the foundation of music. Contests are not important but performing is something that should be encouraged.
