I can do lessons via messengr or skype. During lessons I can also take some video clips to send you for parts you need to work on.
I play rock, blues, metal, acoustic. I have studied theory, and have several years of playing and.teaching experience. Here's an example. https://youtu.be/rRv53HMj3N8
I have always been passionate about playing. My goal is to help you feel that you have accomplished your goals.
Jeff is amazing with my son! He is very knowledgeable, patient, committed and personable. He discusses goals with my son and customizes each lesson to achieve those goals. Jeff is always encouraging and such a pleasure to work with. My son has learned a tremendous amount and is playing so well!!! He truly enjoys the time spent with Jeff.
I can't say enough good things about my experience taking lessons from Jeff. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he looks for ways to make techniques and practice fit my style and what I want to learn. It's not his way or the highway. He is extremely patient and accommodating and really pleasant and fun to learn from. If I am having trouble remembering something from a lesson during my practice in between lessons he will make me a short video to help me. I take my lessons via Skype and Messenger and it's really woked well since I no longer live in the same state. He is also very reasonable in his pricing and just a great guy.
Finding out the students strengths and weaknesses. Also vital is understanding the students goals!
2 years of classical guitar as well as several classes on theory.
Played in metal and pop and even worship teams, and I have extensive experience in ear training.
Paypal is preferred. I usually charge 13.00 a half hour on skype or Facebook messenger
My friend recommended my years ago at a small store in elgin. I loved it! I teach all ages! I enjoy teaching because I enjoy seeing students progress to be able to play what they want !
I have worked with beginners, kids and adults.
I have also helped many students learn rock techniques with songs they wanted to learn, and showing them easier ways to play it.
I devised a manuel long ago that explored warm ups, chords, progressions, scales and sequences to help then expand their fretboard knowledge and ability
I enjoy gigging , performing and jamming. One of the most fun I has was playing at an open mic. An open mic. can consist of playing with random musicians. It has always been fun as I don't know what I'm gonna play mire the caliber of musicians I'll be playing with.
Make sure the teacher explains why he or she is trying to show you something. Also, practice eve slow until you nail that piece , and slowly speed up
1. Am I doing this as a hobby?
2. Am I doing this because I want to be a pro guitar player?
3. Do I have the time
4. Am I ready to have fun
