About
I get excited when students realize they can actually learn to play. There is a lag time between lessons, practice, muscle building, and end results. The initial growth period, the time it takes to develop strength and coordination, can be discouraging. However, this phase is temporary. When a student can finally play a song, the worst part is over and skill level speeds up. At this stage, the process becomes fun and rewarding. Now, the student understands success is possible and the bond between guitar and musician is forged. That makes me happy.
