About
The ability to help someone learn a new skill, and along the way see them learn about themselves. Someone did that for me, and passing that along and being a part of that process for someone else is something I take pride in.
I enjoy the opportunity to help people develop a new skill, build confidence, and see things about themselves that they might not know.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to begin with a conversation in which I can assess the students fitness experience, current fitness level, and fitness goals.
Once I understand where the student is current at, and where they want to go, I can begin an individualized training plan to get them to where they want to be.
Each session typically begins with a warm-up with a bit of cardio/strength work, then moves into a bit of a technical period, in which new techniques are learned, such as footwork and movement, and throwing different punches.
In the later part of the sessions we put what the student just learned into action- either on a heavybag or in working mitts. This provides both an opportunity for mental repetition and for physical conditioning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Numerous years of boxing training and competition.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Nothing particularly standard, based on each individual situation
How did you get started teaching?
Just out of a love for the sport, and the feeling that I should pay it forward to others, after others have helped me.
