About this pro

What my students love more about my class is that it is taught in a kitchen similar to theirs, where what they learn here, they get to do at home without any complications. After class, we all get to eat what we created and take any leftovers home, and it's always exciting to taste how delicious food can be when made by your own hands.

I love cooking, I believe it is one of the skills one should have in order to enjoy life even more, but it's also basic for knowing how to take care of oneself. I really enjoy seeing how people start liking the kitchen after just a class, and they learn how easy and tasty it can be to know how to cook.

Tamar really knows what she’s doing, the food is delicious and the class is fun! She makes you feel like a chef yourself!

The cooking classes at Ssugarpill were amazing! Tamar is very professional and she covers many cooking styles (mexican, asian, mediterranean, among other). She is also very open to adapt the menus based on our preferences and gives you super good cooking tips. I've cooked several times some of the dishes I learned in her classes for dinners with friends and everyone loves them! Compared to other cooking classes in the area, Ssuparpill is by far the best in terms of price and quality!

Speaking from first hand experience, Tamar has great creativity and efficiency when it comes to cooking. Her recipes are unique, healthy, and able to be prepared in a short amount of time. More importantly, she puts a lot of love and care in what she does - which makes it an enjoyable experience for those learning!

Recepies are delicious and easy to make! She is very patient and guided me through every step.

I'm a self-taught baker and cook. I've had a cooking blog for three years, and I'm a Healthy Cooking instructor for children and parents in public schools around Chicago.
