I'm classically trained and real-world educated. Equally comfortable in a jazz club and symphonic concert hall, I've spent a decade performing and arranging music of nearly every style. I've helped students of all ages and skill levels achieve their goals and sound better.

I graduated from Chicago College of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance. I can teach students to read music and pursue classical excellence, to learn how to play contemporary music using chord sheets, or both depending on the goals and preferences of the student.

As a professional musician, I've played in orchestras with incredible artists like Yo-Yo Ma and Jeffrey Kahane. My passion is contemporary music, but I believe great technique is essential to play any style well.

Together we will work to develop your unique artistry in a positive learning environment. I will tailor each session to your needs and ensure you always have clear and actionable steps toward improving your musicianship!
