About
Hello! My name is Naomi Powers and I have been teaching violin lessons for over 10 years now. I started playing violin when I was four years old and started teaching lessons beginning in high school before going to college at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music. I have spent summers all over the U.S. and Asia performing at summer music festivals and I have a lot of experience with orchestral repertoire.
I hope to inspire you to learn and grow as both a musician and person.

Naomi is a phenomenal violinist who has a diverse range of experience in solo, chamber, and orchestral repertoire. She is a very accommodating teacher who makes learning the violin accessible. She is very patient and nurturing while also providing thoughtful solutions to problems on the violin. I would highly recommend Naomi to any prospective students.
