About
There's no substitute for experience. When it comes to guitar instruction it would be difficult to find anyone more experienced than Marty Williamson. A full-time instructor since 1990, his strength is presenting information in practical ways that are easily understood.
With over 25,000 hours teaching private lessons, he is able to assess the student's current level and quickly come up with a logical next step.
If it's your 1st day or your 20th year, he can help get you to the next level!
When not teaching, Marty performs original music with Chicago rock band Hello Dave.
I love to share my knowledge of playing guitar! It's been my passion for over 40 years.
Every student and lesson is different.
I only focus on making steady progress. For some students that happens quickly and others take more time. The most important goal is getting enjoyment from the instrument.
