Garage Band U, founded in 2000, is more than a music school. Located in Downers Grove, Illinois, they provide a unique, hands-on group performance experience that is unmatched by individual study. Musicians of all ages are encouraged to develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment, performing as members of a functioning rock band. Their semesters, lasting 6 to 12 weeks, offer open enrollment, small class sizes, and a commitment to ensure every student plays their principal instrument at all times. Garage Band U empowers students with musical confidence, teamwork, and a sense of achievement.
