Music is our passion! We pride ourselves in helping students achieve and define their musical goals. All of our faculty are highly trained, degreed instructors with years of profesional teaching experience.

Simply put, we love what we do! One of the most rewarding experiences is being able to help our students accomplish their goals. One of the unique opportunities we have at our school is the variety of students that are part of our musical family. From the beginner student to the professional musician, we have the opportunity to cater our lesson program to a wide variety of interests and skill sets. All of our lessons are catered to each individual student.

Another rewarding experience we enjoy is holding performances throughout the year. Musicians Workshop holds three concerts every year. It is so rewarding being able to watch our students on stage demonstrating their inner rock star!

Our Rock Ensemble program is perfect for applying these lessons and developing the skills and confidence needed to work within a band environment.

Musicians Workshop opened in 2011, which focuses on teaching lessons in: Guitar, Bass, Piano, Drums, Voice and Rock Ensembles.

Founder and Owner, Michael Tahlier, has been teaching music for over 20 years. He is the Director of the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay's Rock Academy, and author of Principles of Music for Guitar.

Michael received his Bachelor's of music from Berklee College of Music and his Master's from DePaul. All of the faculty share Michael's vision for music education, are degreed and some of the best musicians and educators in the business.

    Frequently asked questions

We pride ourselves on being able to develop a lesson curriculm that caters to each student individually. We quickly assess where each student is at, identify goals or help to define goals, and develop a lesson plan that can help build on these topics and cater to each students stylistic interests.

By establishing goals to work towards, the student is able to follow a path to success.

All of our faculty are not only great musicians, but have a minimum of bachelors degree in music. The ability to assess a students strengths or weaknesses, and devising a plan to achieving goals is not a skill that comes intuitively. Educators are trained profressionals.

It was important we hire not only great players but degreed profressionals, passionate about music education.
