Question & Answer

Q: What is your typical process for working with a new student?

A.

Each student is unique.  Lessons are all about you.

Some students have a very clear goal. They might be auditioning for the school musical or a talent show. Some students have always wanted to play an instrument or sing. We work with a lot of parent with young children who want their child to have positive experience with music.

Everyone has a different way that they learn. The teacher is constantly evaluating and reevaluating how the student learns best.

Q: What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

A.

We have many teachers. All teachers have college levels training in their field. Many teachers have graduate degrees.

Q: Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

A.

Prices vary by program. We have classes, small groups, shared and private lessons.

Q: How did you get started teaching?

A.

We are teachers because we love to teach.  We love sharing our knowledge with others.

Q: What types of students have you worked with?

A.

We teach all ages and all levels.

Q: Describe a recent event you are fond of.

A.

Every semester we perform a musical. It's amazing to watch the transformation that takes place with students from the audition to the performance.

Q: What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

A.

Find a teacher who loves to teach.

Q: What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

A.

Do you have a goal? Can your teacher help you reach it?
