Hi, my name is Tom Mesich. I am a conservatory trained musician with a masters degree in guitar.
I've been teaching for 39 years, and my past students include many other teachers in the area.
I teach all styles of music, and play all instruments authentically. I'm not a guitarist who happens to teach other instruments.
I can teach you what you want to learn. Tell me what it is, and we'll decide the best way to get it
done.
Lesson prices are $25.00 per half hour in your home (within 8 miles) or $21.00 in my studio at

Tom is an absolutely incredible teacher. I took 5-string banjo lessons from him during 2014 through 2016/2017, Im still pickin to this day and playing in a hobby band.
Toms lessons focus on a wide range of topics. Obviously he teaches you how to play the instrument you want to learn but he also teaches everything from the very basics of music through advanced theory, playing form, instrument maintenance - anything you want to learn about music.
The pace of his lessons are very flexible. He can push you with harder material but is also able to move as slowly as the student needs.
Also adept at making the material easy to understand.
