Hello, my name is Buddy!
I've been playing guitar and bass for 16 years with roughly 10 years experience performing live with a variety of bands ranging from reggae to death metal.
My teaching primarily focuses on entry level playing and music theory but can be useful to intermediate players as well.
Some topics you can expect to learn about are the chromatic scale, chord and scale construction, reading tablature and modes.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For new students we first will go over right/left hand technique and basic chord shapes. Then we will practice those shapes by learning songs by chord sheets and tablature. From there we will address light theory (intervals, triads, roman numeral system, scale formulas etc.)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing guitar for 15 years and have perfomance experience ranging from pop to death metal.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been studying music theory for the past 5 years and wanted to share what I have learned with others
