I am a professional guitarist and have been teaching guitar for over twenty years.
I also have three solo albums and have written a book entitled “Guitar in Theory and Practice.” All lessons are taught at my home studio in Lockport (not far from I-355 and 159th Street), recorded, and emailed to you that night. Lessons are $25 for a half hour and $50 for an hour.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I teach all skill levels. I can get beginners through the beginning basic stuff quicker than most and also teach professionals and other teachers as well. I am a professional guitarist with pro recording gear so i can show you how it is really done. Other teachers will just show you how to read music or strum a few chords and or teach you songs. I will teach you how to do all that and can teach you how to solo and improvise and to create songs, hear and transcribe music.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
College education. 3 albums released. I wrote a book on guitar playing and have toured playing thousands of shows.

50 an hour 25 a half hour. Fees apply to travel for outcall lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
Teacher gave me his job at a music store when I was a kid. I also taught the high school class instead of taking it for credit.
