I really appreciate the patience that Steve has. Not only is he helping me to break some bad habits that I developed on my own, he is also taking the time to explain to me the “why” and not just the “how” of what we are doing. He is willing to answer any questions that I have along the way. I appreciate that each week he has given me things to work on to help sharpen my skills. I know I have so much to learn, but I can definitely say that each week I walk away from our lessons improving on my playing and my knowledge of the guitar. I like that he emphasizes not just duplication of how an artist plays, but is teaching me to hear and feel the music.
