About this pro

I've been a teacher, touring guitarist and recording artist for over thirty years. My approach to teaching comes from experience and creating a safe and non shaming environment for students to learn and grow in. I am as comfortable with beginners as I am with seasoned pro's. I specialize in flatpicking the acoustic guitar (bluegrass and fiddle tune style) improvisation and teaching music and chord theory through learning tunes a student may be familiar with. I also specialize in Roots, Blues ,Americana music and adult education. www.ericlambert.com www.truefire.com

I love people and teaching the gift of music.

Awesome Educator. I am unique since I have the privilege of having Eric Lambert teaching me guitar personally. In three years he had brought me from a guy just sitting around listing to bluegrass jams to one who has been playing in them. Eric is very friendly and a great teacher. He listens to what you what to achieve and makes sure (as long as you practice) that read more about review stating Awesome Educatorou can reach your goal. Eric suggested that I subscribe to his Flatpicking Bluegrass channel and I am so happy that I did. His step-by-step approach in breaking a song down has allowed me to focus on items that there just isn’t enough time to go over in a lesson. I would highly recommend Eric, you won’t be disappointed.

So many excellent guitar players are unable to translate their skills into teaching. Eric is not one of those people. He's got such a friendly and approachable demeanor about him that makes you feel good about learning guitar. He's relatable even though he can play circles around most folks. Don't hesitate to check out any of his courses and dive inRead more about review stating What a player. Enjoy!

"Eric is an outstanding instructor, and I very much look forward to our jam sessions every week. No matter where you are on your musical journey, even as a novice, Eric will get you playing music from day one. His lessons are not heavy-laden with theory and are delivered from the heart, making the experience of learning less intimidating and more enjoyable. He is a talented musician, an inspirational mentor, and a great friend." Mike Engle, Highland IN
