My students get a Total music education. I listen to what their goals are. Do you wish to play only for fun, or would you like to know the structure of music, compose, improvise, or get ready to study at a University. I can provide everything you need to reach your goals.
I love love love starting students at the very beginning and watching them grow into a true musician. When they succeed I am so proud of them and cheer them on to go further.
I have also been successful in working with students with autism. I have several who have started with other teachers and we're not moving along. I have to boast, I have had several VERY successful autistic students.

Depending on their experience, I would ask what their goals are and assess where they are in their skills
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i have a Masters if Music Education from Butler with Piano, voice and harp. I am also a consultant for the National Piano Foundation and Dr Robert Pace.

How did you get started teaching?
i have been teaching Piano since I was 16. I paid for college with my teaching.
