Hello, I'm Karis Ens. I graduated from Friends University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance and composition. Alongside teaching piano lessons, I also teach beginning classical guitar and beginning violin lessons and I, also, teach sewing lessons.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

From the times I have avalible, student chooses a time that works for them.

Student purchases study material from me at their first lesson and fills out an info sheet for me to keep.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied and graduated from Friends University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music - Piano Performance and Music Composition in 2016. I have had experience in accompanying and arranging music for local performances. I conitue to study the insturments I teach with other instructors.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$22/30min, $32/45min, $42/60min

I like to be paied for the whole month at student's first lesson of that month. If student's lessons are $22 and there are 4 weeks in a month, you owe me $88 at the beginning of the month.

I also offer a group lesson once a month for children for $6/student for a 60min class. The lessons entail music theory games and music history.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have tought 4 year old children to 70 year old adults. I work with 4 year olds who know their ABCs and how to count to 5.
