I believe that music education is very important, and especially focusing on an a particualr instrument. Folks of all ages can benefit in many ways from studying music.
In these times, online music lessons are a great way to start your musical journey or to pick it back up.

My daughter has only been taking ukulele lessons for a few months and has made amazing progress. The lessons have taught her to play, read and write music. He encourages her to create her own songs and write them down. The lessons are individualized and work on skills at the student’s pace. Jeff’s a talented teacher and a very knowledgeable musician.
Each student is different. Depending on the instrument (guitar or uke) and the age and interests of the student, I prefer to use one of several basic method books. With younger children or complete beginners, the structure of a method book, that focuses on learning notation from the start seems to work best. A student that already knows basics or is at an intermediate leverl, may want to jump right into learning his or her favorite tunes, in conjunction with some basic music theory, notation reading, etc.
Bachelor's degree in music, focusing on classical guitar, and music theory (minoring in psychology) and years of experience performing live music in various genres.
I am currently accepting new students for online guitar or ukulele lessons! I have openings on Sundays, between 12:00 and 3:00.
Lesson Rates (paid via Venmo):
* Pay as you go: $30 for a 30 minute lesson, paid at the time of the lesson.

I first started teaching guitar at a local music store when I was a student in college, back in the early 90's. It helped my own musical eductaion/development greatly and I was sharing the joy of studying and playing music at the same time!
Absolute beginers, kids of all ages, adults, intermediate players wanting to most to the next level in their playing, and a few more advacned students wanting to focus on music therory. So all kinds of learners are welcome!
