I am a long time guitar man. I have recorded songs down through the years., and have been giving guitar lessons for many years. I am in the Rockabilly Hall Of Fame. I have turned out many great guitar players.
I enjoy seeing my students learn more & more each week with their Guitar. I enjoy seeing the progress that they are making.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get along great with my guitar students. We start out slow, so that the student understands that learning to play the guitar, takes a lot of practice and detication to learn to play. If a student does these things, they will become a very good guitar player. I will answer all questions, and help them every way that I can.If you want to learn to play the guitar, you must. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have gave guitar lessons at the House of Guitars in Frankfort Ky. for many years. I have given guitar lessons at Willas Music Co. here Lexington, Ky. for 15 years. I now teach out of my home, here in Lexington, Ky. I have turned out many, many, really great guitar players.( More Than I Can Count ).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I teach my students what they want to learn. I teach them to play hybrid picking, string bending, double stops, hammer ons, pull offs.scales.etc.
How did you get started teaching?
]I won a contest at a talent contest, and the owner of a music store, hired me to give guitar lessons at his music store.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types, and all ages.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I use to travel to many states, puting on stag shows, working for the T-TexTommy Productions out of Nashville TN.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You have to really want to learn to play the guitar. So, You have to practice everyday.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
