My teaching approach: My approach to teaching guitar revolves around the students own musical goals and interests so we can make it a more fulfilling and fun to learn. Each lesson comes prepared and printed specifically for your individual needs.

Curriculum: Proper hand posture, chord strumming patterns, tablature and staff notation, improvisation techniques, speed building exercises, music theory

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following: We start by simply putting our hands on the guitar. I have all my students write me a list of their three favorite bands and we just take it from there.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following: I like to make sure that my students have a solid foundation on technique and practical music theory. I want to give you the tools needed to read music and learn the songs that you desire.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following: I prefer that my students bring a folder with their notes so when we review what we did last week and track your progress.

I've always believed the best way to learn is to teach. I feel that I am making a difference in peoples lives by showing them how to express themselves with music. There is no greater feeling than watching a music student grow and thrive.
