My daughter has been taking guitar lessons for about 5 months. She really enjoys it. The location and time is very convenient and the cost of the lessons per month is affordable. Mario and his family are very friendly and we will continue the lessons.

Frequently asked questions

My goal is to have every student learn what they want and what they are interested in. I have a specific method that I follow because it has been proven to be the easiest and most effective way to learn guitar, and I direct that to each students' individual interests.

I have been learning and initiating the SDML program for over 10 years.  It has been wonderful to see students learn and grow in their abilities from this method.

When I discovered how effective the SDML method was on me as someone who was very skeptical about being able to learn, I was amazed and it became a passion of mine to pass on this knowledge to those who are in the same shoes I was in many years ago.  I also found that this method teaches already experienced guitarists many things they did not know and shows them how to improve their abilities in a very simple way. This increased my desire to teach!

I have tought students from ages 4 years to 85 years.  I have tought students who had never touched a guitar before, students who knew basic material, and students who had a lot of guitar experience already and wanted to increase their knowledge.

You should find a teacher who does not ignore your interests. Look for a teacher who is constantly asking you questions about what you are wanting to get out of lessons.  You also should find a teacher who is not just going through the motions of teaching, but is always asking "does this make sense" or "do you have any questions" and is very involved in making sure you are understanding the material.
