About
My teaching approach: The SDML system is based on a structured and logical approach designed to get you playing guitar as quickly as possible. The focus is to build on the unique strengths of the individual student, and customize the lessons based on his or her needs, goals, and ambitions. As a general rule, I only teach material if I can explain exactly why the student needs to learn it - no extraneous or unnecessary information. Everything you learn is built from something you already know, creating logical paths from one concept to the next. There are no books to buy; materials are included in the fee. My guitar lessons take place in: The teacher's studio Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours: Every day except Sunday because the store is closed. Guitar Techniques: Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Open tuning, Slide Guitar, Vocal Accompaniment, Performance, Improvisation, Jamming Skills, Reading Music, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises, Song Writing, Recording and Production, Guidance In Equipment Selection Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following: Again, this varies dramatically.
