Scott Gregory Piano Studio
About
I have experience in a wide variety of genres. Although my background is classical and jazz, I have professionally played rock, country, R&B, gospel, blues, ambient/electronic, pop/acoustic, and alternative. Not only this, but I also am an award-winning film score composer and I have composed and produced music for podcasts, short films, and other media. I love drawing on all these things to improve my teaching.
One of my favorite parts of teaching is enriching the student's understanding of the music they are playing. I love helping them see not just how to play the piece but how to love it. Seeing the beauty in music can help us see the beauty around us.
