My teaching approach:

First approach is to ask student the style of music they what to learn and start with exercises to improve their artlernate picking and finger dexterity. Next, will move on to guitar solos and preferred songs. I am a published author for Mel Bay Publications and have performed in various local bands in the Greater New Orleans area. Professionally taught in Vienna, Austria for American Institute of Music. Professionally taught at World of Strings, and also, Todd's Music Express. Currently teaching at C & M Music Store in Kenner, LA
