I am very active in the New Orleans music community and regularly play out in town and on tour. I have a wealth of knowledge about music business and how to be a professional musician.
I am very flexible as far as location is concerned. I can travel to you. I am also highly proficient in online learning and can teach and convey concepts from anywhere.
I enjoy most of all the back and forth between teacher and student and working together. A good teacher learns alot from his students as well as through teaching. There is no end to learning.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I like to get to know them and their interests. Most importantly though I like to gauge what they want out of lessons so I can formulate a lesson plan. If they prefer to learn something specific then we'll go with that and hopefully branch out from there. If they are not sure then I will suggest fundamentals and excercises to get the balling rolling. That said every student is different and I would rather cater to the individual.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
-I have 3 going on 4 years of music school training.
-I am an experienced guitar player ~ 15 years
-I am an experienced writer and composer also ~15 years
-I have school and personal training in Ableton and Logic
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I like to charge a sliding scale of 35-50 an hour. More toward the 35 if bought in bulk and the 50 if I have to travel.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always enjoyed my craft and teaching others what I know. It came on naturally. I love the school environment and feel like one on one lessons is the best way to learn.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly beginners. Of all ages. Not really any specific type of student.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am fond my fellow artists perservearing and flourishing throughout this pandemic. It is truly inspiring.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone that treats you as the most important person for the time you are spending together and will be prepared every lesson to further your development.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How much can I commit to this?
What am I trying to learn? Be specific, but don't hold yourself to anything if you feel like moving on.
