Each student is different, so each teaching approach is unique. I believe a good teacher feeds off the ability of their student, and each student's progress is ultimately up to them. A relaxed environment is key. I wrote, recorded, produced, and performed in Las Vegas for 7 years. I performed in various locations in LA.

The first lesson is an assessment of the students knowledge. I introduce the notes along the fretboard and simple chords. I judge playing ability by watching finger strength and control.

The ideal student is one that really wants to learn how to play. The student should be excited to learn and practices want is being taught.
