    Frequently asked questions

Working with new students is fun and exciting! Beginning a new adventure brings so many questions and sparks so much interest, but I always begin by laying down a solid foundation and that entails starting with the basics. Some of my most favorite lessons have been with beginning students at their first lesson.

I have a double bachelors degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in classical piano pedagogy and classical piano performance. I also have minor areas of study that focus on vocal performance and dance.

For lessons given in my studio, the tuition is as follows: $40.00 for 30 minutes, $50.00 for 45 minutes, and $60.00 for 60 minutes.

For lessons where I travel to the student's home, the tuition is as follows: $45.00 for 30 minutes, $55.00 for 45 minutes, and $65.00 for 60 minutes.

For as long as I can remember, I've always had a passion for teaching. My inspiration comes from conveying simple and concise solutions to complex ideas and/or problems.

With having taught over decade, the variety of my students has ranged from the age of 3 to 85! I have taught young and older beginners, to very advanced students. Whether you're a beginner looking to get started with music, or you have years of experience; working with me you'll be inspired, encourage, and confident in your practice.
