As an older adult, I again wanted to take instruction on guitar. Something I had not since the age of 12. I started a search using Lessons.com and luckily was matched with Drake Descant of Descant Music & Art. Within a day, Drake responded to my. I was provided with options on how I could again resume lessons. I proceeded with the next step and completed an on line survey tailoring a lesson plan that I would benefit by. Drake was able to accommodate my busy schedule and provided a quote that was fair and equitable. Prior to any commitment, I met with both Drake and Dan who is now my instructor. Both were enthusiastic and willing to reacquaint me with the guitar. I was concerned that as an adult, perhaps my time to learn an instrument had passed. Much to my surprise, I have learned so much and believe I am progressing under Dan. He is extremely patient and flexible by allowing me to decide what I would like to practice and learn. His guidance has been invaluable. At this time, I am subscribed to half hour lessons, at some point I would like to extend this time to one hour. My half hour with Dan absolutely flies by in no time at all. I am so happy to have made this commitment and I am having fun with it. I am going into my third month of lessons and look forward to each week. In closing, I would recommend Descant Music & Art to both the young and young at heart who are contemplating learning an instrument.
