I'm certified and specialized in online piano tutoring. I have taught piano to a variety of young students, kids and adults over the past 10 years. I have learned to be flexible and varied with my teaching style based on each individuals need and their musical interests. It has given me experience in developing a love for music in their lives in a fun and comfortable enviroment while also solidifying musicality that will serve in all their musical endeavors. I've also won several piano awards/competitions. I'm very patient, caring and loving teacher.
I love helping my student's learn and develop a special love for music. My goal is to help students achieve the necessary skills to become self-reliant, confident and creative through body consciousness and sound awareness in order to become good musicians.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find extremely important to have a good dialogue with students before we start the learning process, as a piano teacher my goal is to help out students learn in the most comfortable and fun enviroment. I want my students to enjoy the music they are playing, so it is important to me that I get to know their taste as well as their style. I love watching students learning and making music their own. I love to be part of the progress they make!

Bachelor's from School of music and Fine Arts - Brazil
Masters in piano collaborative - UMass
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching private lessons, also taught piano group for several years. I currently teach piano group at UMass for undergraduate students.
What types of students have you worked with?
Kids, adults, teenagers and elderly.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Chat with your teacher, you should feel comfortable with him/her. Learning piano can be challenging but if you find the right teacher, things can go very smoothly, easy and fun.
