About
For me, teaching is the most satisfying and important thing I do. I am a teacher first and the only reason I perform or practice is to learn things that make me a better teacher. I do everything I can to give my students the knowledge they need to be better players and teachers themselves. I am a deeply patient person and will stick with what a student needs to learn as long as they need to learn for.
I love watching the first time something clicks for a student and getting the satisfaction that I helped someone learn something.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I teach the way music has always been taught from the beginning... by learning songs. So, before working on any exercises, I find a simple song that a student would like to learn to play and carefully go over the harmony and melody.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in guitar performance from Berklee College of Music. Graduated summa cum laude with a 3.9 GPA.
