My guitar lessons are about finding what the student's goals are and targeting a plan to achieve them. I have experience teaching beginners through post-grad level students. I also teach banjo and mandolin.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:
M-F at night. Saturday and Sunday are flexible.

Discussion of goals, prior history. I assess a student's playing in relation to their goals and in providing constructive improvements to their playing.
A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:
After initial assessment and goal setting, we would work together to develop a plan to achieve these goals. Things that my lessons may include are: improvisational strategies, scale work, technical exercises, metronome work, compositional strategies, etc.
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:
