I enjoy seeing students progress and become proficient at the sport of Boxing. Not only is it a great workout, but you will develop a valuable skill set....knowing how to defend yourself is important and a skill that EVERYONE should have!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students come to my Boxing Gym and we begin with the fundamentals of the sport....Stance, Hand Position, Balance, Footwork, Punch combinations, etc. Sessions are typically one hour long and you will workout intensely. What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with kids as young as 8 years old all the way up to my oldest student -- a 77 year old gentlemen who really developed well. I teach BOTH men and women, and teach Self-Defense classes as well.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who has considerable experience in whatever sport you are pursuing.....experience goes a LONG way in sports and in business, so seek out the most experienced coach you can find.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Is this something you really want to do? Are you passionate about it? Are you willing to work hard and take instruction. Boxing, like golf and other skilled games, involves precision and technique....it requires discipline and dedication.
