When I began taking piano lessons with Ms. Ryu, I am an adult piano student and had some piano experience. However, it had been years since I studied and needed to brush up on my skills. Ms. Ryu is an extremely talented musician and pianist with very effective teaching methods. Based on my musical background and experience, she was able to adjust our lessons to the level of instruction that was necessary to meet our goals. We not only worked on technique, but also theory, musicality, effective practicing, and rehearsal. Thanks to Ms. Ryu’s positive and encouraging teaching style, lessons were always enjoyable.
I like Heywon's lessons as she makes them a great learning experience. She very patiently adjusts to varying skill levels. I am an adult learner, and I really appreciate the commitment and flexibility that Heywon brings to each and every lesson. She helps me with both skills and theory, which helps me learn much better.
The teacher is patient, helpful and available.
Ms. HyeWon is a patient piano teacher with a wide range of students, The lessons are private lessons that focus on each individual student. She gives the kids positive feedback and always encourages her students to enjoy and love playing music. She helps and guides her students to read music confidently, especially when starting on new pieces. My daughter has been with Ms. Hyewon for almost a year now, and she's still very excited to attend practices. She gives honest criticism and genuinely wants to see her students grow to their full potential. As my daughter continues to learn from Ms. Hyewon, she's continuously showing progress and playing beautiful music. I'm so glad we were able to find her, and highly recommend her!
