What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We will personally costumize a curriculum based on your goals and progress you on your instrument at your own pace. If you are doing a band we will place you with a group of students that are similar in age, skill, and stlye to create a full rock band ensemble.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our world class music instructors have degrees in music and/or experience in the top of their field.
How did you get started teaching?
All of our teachers started by the love of sharing our knowledge and expertise as well as watching students progress and succeed in their goals.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with beginners through advanced students in private lessons and rock band classes.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Our student Rock Bands and Solo Acoustic acts do more events than all the local performance based music schools combined. The have graced the stages of Downtown Annapolis Events, Eastport A Rockin', Nextival, Bay Music Festival, Ramshead Live, Ramshead On Stage, Metropolitan Kitchen, and many other family friendly venues and festivals. The favorite of many however is our annual Battle of the Bands we hold yearly at Union Jacks Annapolis.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be prepared to learn and have fun. If you don't have an instrument yet, please let us know and we will help you find a suitable and affordable instrument.
